Why In Buona Compagnia exists
Hi, we're Marco and Francesco, and every month we pick a biography, an essay or a memoir by someone who, in our view, did excellent work in their life, and we gather ideas and reflections that can be useful for our own work and our own lives.
The goal of this project is not to entertain you, or to teach you anything. What we do is collect the pieces left along the road by people who did great work in their lives. The way you pick up pebbles on a long walk.
This is not a manual. What you do with it is up to you.
What we promise is that, spending a few hours a month with us, you will have been in good company and found something worth taking with you.
The podcast is recorded in Italian. Every episode here has an English version: the video with English subtitles, the full transcript, the ten key reflections and the sources.

The Engineer Who Convinced NASA to Try a Crazy Idea on Mars
Adam Steltzner led the team that landed Curiosity on Mars in August 2012: a rover the size of a MINI Cooper, set down with a maneuver nobody had ever tried before. The Right Kind of Crazy is his memoir, never published in Italy.
